  • Enchanted Kraken Club/Joyeuse?

Just wondered if any Red Mages were lucky enough to have a Kraken CLub/Joyeuse, and can say whether En-spells work for every hit or not?

Trying to imagine the damage done with Kraken Club + Fencer Ring + Enchantment

Well I have Joyeuse and en-spells work for both hits, and I'm almost positive it works for all hits of Kraken Club.

Cool. Have you tried out the Fencer Ring too? What difference does it make to damage?

I've seen a rdm using the Kraken Club while I was in Davoi, use Enthunder on himself and went nuts on some poor orc. I was just running by when I heard this constant pounding and that "ZAP" sound when your enthunder connects.

It was like "zap, zap, zap, zap, zap, zap, zap, zap, zap....."
Of course going right after the regular hits. :p

I would LOVE to have this weapon, but alas it's not easy to get, and buying it would mean you have to have at least 10-20 million on my server. So it looks like not anytime soon. But sooner or later, I want that Kraken club.

Yeah Kraken Club goes off every time the club lands a hit. But honeslty other then for farming the club sucks. Makes monsters harder then they should be and its damage sucks and doesnt make up for it. Every Swing of the club can give whatever 8x hits worth of TP is. 16TP? I think.

If my LS killed Onzozo and it drops im pretty sure we would pawn it off for the 10-15mil its worth on Titan and get more usefull gear for multiple people.

with each hit of the club, i gain 6 tp so then the monster would gain 9. 2-8 hits would mean 18 to 72 tp for the monster! *gasp*

              Timing

I imagine if it hits right, the monster's TP wouldn't make much difference. As long as you can get to 100 TP before it lets off its attack, you can stop most of them with a WS of your own. For instance, if you're fighting a gob and it hits a few times the first three hits, then follows through with eight hits, the gob starts bomb toss, but you have TP to pull off a WS. The gob drops the bomb, dies, and you defeated a gob in about a minute.

Its commonly used with Joyeuse or Ridill. You main the 1H sword and use Kraken as secondary. With all the swings you'll be doing, its a nice way to build up 300% TP for Spirits within very quickly.

Don't hits only give 2% tp or so to the monster? It's how much I gain when stuff hits me. But you build up tp way faster than the mob anyways. Takes like 10 sec to get 100% tp with club and joyeuse. If you fight stuff with mp you can pretty much fight forever cause you can do MP draining ws on them. Vs easy stuff I nuke em, energy drain, nuke em, energy drain over and over. 300% tp will give you over 100 mp back if you use dagger, club only gives like 60mp or so. The beauty of the club is it still swings and hits while you are casting. Also with fencer ring my en damge does 23 per hit bonus long as I keep my health yellow. 2-8 hits from the club is +46-184 damage, it really adds up.

Nah, monsters get TP according to your waepon delay + 3. So if your weapon gives back +6TP per hit, then mob gets 6+3TP when they are hit.

I would prefer Enhancing Sword, Joyeuse, Fencer's Ring, and an en-spell. Kraken Club could be substituted, but the damage on it is abysmal. It does, notably, have great TP regen when you get 8 hits off.
