  • RDM and Healing in 20-30's

I have the unfortunate privilage of xp'n in Kazam now. There is a shortage of WHM's usually, which sux for down time when the WHM says "supper's gettin cold, gotta run". I do however see RDM's a bit more often. I haven't had the pleasure of leveling my RDM past 13 but I am interested in knowing if you guys can handle the Debuffs and Heals at these levels if there were no WHM in group. Everyone is afraid to xp without the WHM.

Personally, I love a PT with a RDM (that knows what he is doing), I can tell a major differance while I am grouped with one.

Thanks for the imput, RDM could be my main choice after I hit lvl 30.

if we are the lone rdm, no (least my prior experiences have been disasters). with 2 rdm or a rdm and brd, then yes.

    Thanks Yyg!

Actually, if you're in Yuntunga or Yhaotor, then a RDM can be the lone healer with 5 melees. I know, because I played full-time healer there. Those Mandys are one of the easiest ITs you're gonna face. However, when you move out of the jungle into Garlaige or Crawler's Nest, then a RDM cannot handle the curing alone.

I agree with what Dtec said, but be ready for a bit more downtime (possibly) and don't plan on putting too much mp into enfeebling or any into nuking.

I made my way through 30 being the primary healer

lunakat said primary healer and debuff. I don't think a lone rdm can do both. Maybe throw down an initial debuff, but, unless you're taru, you'll be using up most of your mp on healing.

          Thanks Yyg!
