will your spells get interrupted if you take 0 damage?

also, does anybody know if the spell blink will stack with utsusemi? the reason i ask is because i'm getting ready to solo a monster that i'm really not supposed to be soloing, and i plan to sub nin for blink (the spell), stoneskin, phalanx, and utusemi.

Yeah, I think they stack.

I remember solo'ing a monster which did 0 damage to me twice (but, hit me) and I didn't get that spell interupted likewise, I got hit for 20 and wasn't interupted either. Same with a small amount of movement while trying to interupt a spell of mine, it didn't interupt it (it: being the movement).

For the bomb coal, you'd have to go behind a banishing door to get to it, which would require 4 people ... might as well bring the extra help! Those bombs can do some nasty exploding death damage regardless of having barfira or not. I personally would not want to risk it ... but at least you realize that you're gonna go solo something that you shouldn't.

But in any case, from what I've observed:

With stoneskin, if I get hit for zero damage I do not get interrupted - be it a smack from a worm in South Gustaberg or a pugil in Cape Teriggan.

Blink, no interruption because you're not being hit.

And I'm not sure about Phalanx, I think that if I get hit for 0 I don't get interrupted ... however, there was one time it was questionable because I got hit for 0 and then 3 really quickly and could not discern if the interrupt was due to the 0 or the 3 damage hit.

You can get hit all you want if you still have Stoneskin, you won't get interrupted : )

Also, you don't have to get behind banishing gates to get the bomb coal. There is a spot to drop down and fight Exploders, becareful though- they are near Dromas.

The bomb coal is one of the fastest drops, just find a party for it and you can usually get the item quickly.

There is NO way for your spell to be interrupted when you get hit for 0 damage. I have hours of farming with stoneskin to prove this.
