Now that I'm 49, what should I spend my money on?

Yeah, my profile's a bit outdated.

So far, I have all the essential RDM spells, like Dispel, Refresh, and Haste. I don't have Cure IV, however, nor do I have Sleep II, or any II spells past Stone II.

My equipment is as follows:

Earth doublet
Cuir Bandanna
Knight's Sword(solo)/Fencing Degen(Party)
Hard Shield (The one piece of totally unnecessary equipment I just had to have ^^)
Druid's Rope
Electrum Ring + San D'Orian Ring
Studded Boots
Studded Gloves
Enhancing Earring + Sphene Earring
Red Cape

So, assuming I make a modest amount of gil to spend, what would be the most useful thing to spend it on? My highest craft skill, sadly, is a 3 in smithing >.<

Since you are Elvann, you will want to gear yourself towards +MP stuff. Once you hit level 50 it opens up a lot of great new equipment options, so here is just a few ideas:

Royal Knight's Belt - Better stats than Druid's Rope, the lower interruption rate is better for soloing, especially since we really don't get hit that often in an exp party anyways. You do have Rank 5 right?
another Electrum Ring - Get rid of that San Dorian Ring
Golden Hairpin - +30MP
Promise Badge - You might not be able to afford it since it runs 45-50k on my server, but the +5 MND is very nice

You could get your RSE boots & gloves if you want, but then again you are only a few levels away from AF boots and gloves, so it's not a big deal there. Your shield is fine, and that sword will last you until 55, and your earrings are fine too unless you really have money to blow. As for the Earth Doublet, heh well I won't comment, I wore Brigandine Armor for a lot longer than I would care to admit.
