Questions about Carapace Armors (lvl 61 stuff)

While the hunt for AF continues on, i'm looking at purchasing (aw hell, I already bought them) Carapace Breastplate, Gloves and Helm.

Carapace Breastplate (lvl 61)
DEF: 44 [Water]+9
Latent Effect : Attack+12 DEF:+44
WAR/MNK/RDM/THF/DRK/BST/BRD/RNG/SAM/DRG

Carapace Helm (lvl 61)
DEF: 23 [Water]+7
Latent Effect : Attack+10 DEF:+23
WAR/MNK/RDM/THF/DRK/BST/BRD/RNG/SAM/DRG

Carapace Gauntlets (level 61)
DEF: 16 [Water]]+5
Latent Effect : Attack+8 DEF:+16
WAR/MNK/RDM/THF/DRK/BST/BRD/RNG/SAM/DRG

I figure with Darksteel Buckler (+3 attack), Fencer's Ring (+5 Magic Sword Damage) and Wize Wizard's Annelace (+14 attack) and phalanx/stoneskin to keep me in yellow zone, it'll make me a RDM farming juggernaut.

My question is - where are the pants and boots?

Anyone have any personal experience with Carapace Armor, and how effective is it in this kind of combo for giving you more umpf when farming? Any suggestions for replacement pants/boots that actually match?
