How do you high lvl RDM's keep up with your sword skill?
If we don't like something, collectively, if our hatred for it throbs like an abscess beneath every thread, does that mean that they're doing something right?

As hard as it may be, don't take this game or your characters too seriously. I promise you - the guys that really own your account don't.

ok, what about Not-Asshole-The-World-Does-Not-Revolve-Around-Me-I'm-Actually-Gracious-For-Your-Invite BRDs to I-Promise-To-Enfeeble-Refresh-Heal-Nuke-And-Buff-When-Needed RDMs?

Ive multiple times seen BRDs with comments like:
"[Arrow][Burn][party] ok
[magic][Burn[[party] ok
[everyone][party][no thanks]"
Its crazy how lazy and bad people are getting with the BLM x5 PTs or RNG x4-5 PTs. It sickens me worse than any gil selling or MPKing incident Ive ever seen.

throw in dia1 here and there. even with bio2/dia2 already in place, you can still gain skill.

but there are others who with the help of their art and their intelligence
transform a yellow spot into the sun.

Yeah, things like this is pretty ridiculous. Mnk party only
Or my new obsession, to somehow, someday get a party with 4x War, 1 Rdm and 1Bbrd, Maybe 3x War, 1 Sam, 1 Rdm and 1 Brd
Seriously though, the most fun partys I've been in has never been the 4x Rng or 4x Blm ones. One party that was really fun was Pld, Drg/Whm, Drg/Whm, Sam, Blm and me as Rdm. This was 60+something against the flies in Boyahda and the Drgs took care of a lot of the curing by using Healing Breath, something me and the Pld were soso sceptical about at first but in the end worked out really well
Skilling up though, I did close to all of that either solo or in coffer partys in Oztroja (because I love that zone for some reason). When I got sword and dagger to around 205-210 I did almost all mys skillups against crabs in Boyahda. Some has come from hanging around in sky waiting for others toshow up for triggers and such and one or two LS skillup partys against elementals in sky.
Parry/Shield seem more annoying to skillup and I've let them slip a bit. Best way to skillup these would be to tank in some skilup partys I suppose. Or if your skill is really behind, find a mnk-type monster that wil give you skillup and just equip a low-damage weapon. Keep Stoneskin and Phalanx up and just let it beat on you.
Magic skills haven't been a problem to keep up since mid-forties or so really
