best way to Obtain AF1?

All u expert RDM's out there can u help me? I went to killing ifrit.com not specifc on AF. Can u Give me tips on how to kill the NM and what lvls and how many in PT?

can kill the NM easy

I did mine at level 43 with two other DRGs (43 DRG/WAR, 49 DRG/WHM). It was pretty easy, although I did need to convert.



If you wanted to challenge yourself, it can be done solo at 45 (bring potions in case) and should be a pushover solo at 50.

you can't. you can only do your AF once. and it's rare/ex

you can't have 2 fencing degens but as of last patch you can do your af's more then once if you threw your af away

I beat the NM with the help of a Lv. 58 WAR who happened to be in the area. With capped enfeebling and Elemental Seal I couldn't land Silence on this guy if my life depended on it. (and it kinda did) It wasn't an easy fight, but it wasn't incredibly hard. We got an add halfway through the fight, so I kept having to switch targets to sleep it. I didn't have to Convert, and we ended up taking the bugger down. I imagine a Lv. 70 helping you would completely crush the NM.

I had a 65 SAM friend of mine help me kill him. Mob was already up, and I just played pseudo-WHM while he beat it to a pulp. Didn't have to convert, but I reccomend you clear any nearby mobs first before engaging him to avoid the possibility of adds.

I got the key all right with a lvl 60 whm and myself, but i'm having a really hard time finding the storage hole. . . I asked around, there were any jp players around and i don't think they understoon what i was saying with tab, or they had no clue what rdm af 1 was about. Is there certain places where it radomly pops up? Or it's just everywhere?

60/29 Rdm (me) 72/36pld Friend 41/20 rdm (AF needer). Even with 2 add, we had np defeating the NM. Although pld alone could have had trouble. He was casting firega too much... and he is a Drk :sweat:
