  • Selene's Bow (Numbers..)

Just curious I know it was here before but after 2hrs. of searching I can't find it. Anyway what I'm looking for is if anyone remembers the numbers of Rng. Att. and Rng. Acc. that Selene's Bow got with the Moon Phases.

It was here once but I'm having no luck finding it.

    Thank You!

...I just asked my friend this yesterday, but I can't remember what he said. I can't find it in my logs either.

      Re: Selene's Bow (Numbers..)

I think Apple pie mentioned it should be around +20~25 with more than +5 racc
unfortunately he forgot what was the moon phase

      I've seen few guesstimate
      like:
      new : racc+10 ratk+25
      full: racc+5 ratk+15

      and some was
      new : racc+5 ratk+25
      full : racc+25 ratk+5

and some other even think that it is +30 ratk during new moon(since per shot, it's comparable to ebow)

I know the way how you inspect the exact +ratk number, but I just can't since I don't have ballista point to schedule personalized ballista
      Thanks,

Take it for what you will. There's no testing shown to back it up, but it atleast tells you which phase does what.
Oh and 50% moon doesnt mean you get nothing, its somewhere in the middle and gives you an even amount of both.

I've heard it varies between 5 - 25 of each.
          Malakite on Bahamut
          RNG: 75 | WHM: 75

          Machaveli on Bahamut
          BLM: 48

          RNG AF1: [0] [0] [0] [0] [0]
          RNG AF2: [0] [0] [0] [0] [X]

Yeah, doing build off all +rng. att. and +rng. acc. gear in existance on the game. To the gear it shows that Rng. Acc. builds exactly the same way that Rng. Att. does so the 5-25 change sounds the most logical.

I doubt 30 because Selene's Bow is 72 DMG vs. E-Bows 71. Even with the added STR +3 that only gives E-Bow a total of +24 rng. att. So the 5-25 makes sense.

Thanks for the info added the bow's two variations to my queries, see how it spits out the data after. Basically got bored and decided I would have fun in seeing what combination of gear would draw the absolute highest of both +rng. acc. and +rng. att.

Intrestingly enough for RNGs lv. 75 the highest so far I've been able to calculate is a +209 Rng. Att. and +175 Rng. Acc. (If you include the Rng. Accuracy Bonuses it is +221 Rng. Acc.). The real kicker though is to achieve these high numbers in both you have to abandon the rng. acc. in the Main hand and Sub hand, those two slots play key roles in getting rng. att. to peak.

Even more ironic to this is doing RNG/WAR and giving rng. att. that damage boost calculating purely on the bonus not even what you'd be at yourself naturally. The numbers go insaine with RNG/WAR though.

Of course separate if you go purely Rng. Att. you max as 339, and purely Rng. Acc. you max as 239 (285 with Acc Bonus).

it's easier to test the real +ratk for selene's rather than racc

no one really know how to relate hit rate to accuracy ... especially for ranged
