Arrows LV45→60

Having trouble deciding whether to use those LV45 elemental arrows or stick with scorpions when using bow. Currently LV50, and at this point I'm going to be switching between gun and arrows. Is D24 RACC+5 better than D29 and addition elemental dmg?

if you have trouble hitting switch to scorps. else you can use elemental arrows.

I use the elemental arrows, they have 4 or 5 more base dmg rating, 30 more delay, but you'll hardly notice that.

I'll switch to some scorps for barrage on IT++ chamber beetles who have that evasion boost ability, but other then that i hit fine with the elemental arrows.

I also use bodkin arrows, they do more damage then scorps and elemental arrows.

Depending on where your PTing other things such as bolts may out damage scorp and ele arrows. I used gun, xbow, and bow in one PT a week ago and noticed a big difference between xbow damage to my bow. My PT had another ranger in it as well. He used D24+5 acc arrows and I used ele. Off and on he would outdamage me but not by much. Depending on the mob usually I would beat him in damage. Like 30 minutes before the PT ended though I pooned him with light bolts. Got an extra 10-15 damage off those compared to ele arrows. In the end, your shooting too fast and busy with other things to notice a few misses. Stick with the ele arrows.

i just switched to bokin arrows, and they do about 5 more dmg to crab and beetle type mobs then the ice and lightning arrows i was using...

pretty lame IMO

Dont bodkins have acc+ tho? Also they're higher base dmg I think, so more WS dmg.

yeah my piercing dmg went up 30 or so, im not saying they arnt worth it, because they do like 15 more dmg if you compare the elemental arrow hits that dont add much additional dmg (like 3 or so)

I mean i'm gonna stcik with em simply because no arrow at my level does more damage, the annoying part is on flys piercing type arrows still do more damage.

Ice arrows are the best, i have gotten the others, but ice always add the most dmg.

scorps suck now IMO, im only level 50, but i swear i miss the dmg from ele arrows when im using scorps, and they just suck.

oh and bodkin dont add any ranged acc., but they do have 4 or 5 higher base dmg so barrage 700 dmg w/ warcry yes plz

All arrows are piercing-type arrows.

that was a mistake in the patch, was fixed a long time ago...

I thought they fixed the 100% damage, like rngs have an advantage on flying mobs, and it was giving them an advantage on beetle/crab type mobs b4 the fix, but once they fixed it rngs didnt get the nerfed dmg they used to get.

I cant measure it because no other arrows at my level have 28 dmg rating.

but i do 85 a shot with bodkin on beetles and crabs, and thats way more then the 58 i did with scorps, or the 75 i did with ele arrows (75+ additional)

dunno but at level 52, they do the most dmg so thats wut i buy, is this correct?

am i wasting gil, they cost 3k more then ele arrows.

should i be using ele arrows???
