You don't attack less if your FPS drops down to 5 frames a second. Spend any time in dynamis or besieged and you can see that.

And I sincerely doubt that FPS is what causes people to "speed hack" when their computer is overclocked. (I wouldn't even believe that was possible had I not heard of accounts of people accidentally moving faster because of that.)

I actually was planning on returning. Unfortunately after reinstalling Playonline, I discovered that I don't have any content ID to reactivate (makes sense since I've been gone for much longer than the stated 3 months), and the Return to Vanadiel program is over. Oh well.

I quit for nearly two years and came back and found my old characters intact without taking advantage of the Return to Vanadiel program. I had all my content IDs cancelled but my POL account was active (it's free anyway).

I guess I'm just unlucky then. My POL account is still there of course, but when I go to content ID's it says there are none available (including when I try to reactivate content IDs).. so I'm guessing they're deleted.

No, it's there. My friend was gone for 18 mos. and she has her account back. Talk to the support staff over at POL and ask to have your content IDs restored. I think as long as your character wasn't deleted, it should still be there.

Alright, I'll try again. I did call them before and they said there's no way to get it restored other than Return to Vanadiel program (which seems silly) but it may be just like tryin to get slick deals from varying CSRs... YMMV... =\
