Level Ninja = (No Thanks)

Right now I was going Rng/War all the way but at lvl 55 using Muskateer +1 & Silver Bullets works well since I save all my pwr moves till near end battle. I have Nin to lvl 18 but I have tried soo patiently to lvl it out of the dunes but I cant >< Everytime I try we spend hrs just making 1k xp, its' a neverending loop of noobism and I dont want to put up with it! Maybe if I can get nin out the dunes I'll have some kind of passion to lvl it to at least 37 but now I just dont have the patience to put up with it. Nin is the only Sub I dont have lvled at this point for my jobs. but then again all I needed from it was dual wield.

on forums everyone says everyone else is a noob. just level it, make friends that have jobs around there that need to lv up, telling you now /war isnt always best choice. Dead rngs do no damage >.>

War is good, but there is times you will definetely want /nin. I will agree that I hate leveling it too though :p

I used to think that as well, but I am /NIN these days for the accuracy bonus and blink. Blink is god.

i dunno.. it's just that i'm one of the crazy rangers that likes to try to get high chains by sharpshot+barrage, slug shot, shoot the barrage, normal shot, slug shot. cant raelly do that if you're war sub i think >.>

Dont get wrong, i have war available, but it doesnt even seem that great of a choice for me. a lot of rng/war i meet just dont want to lv nin (lazy), but it's good to have options available to you

Thanks kastel I wish I was on your server u seem friendly for a high lvl. Unlike others on my server or on this forum at that. I'll try to lvl nin this weekend, i think my main problem with it is being stuck with 1hr noob pts in the dunes with 4 hr downtimes. but what can u do. Thanks again.

Make your own parties, ask people from your LS if they have jobs they want to level, use food and the best gear and put that in your search comment. Yes, dunes are evil, but I've made it through there on war, sam, drg, whm, blm, rdm, and nin before. Remember that even with all the noobs, there are other players like you who are leveling their 3rd or 4th job, who know what they are doing, and want to get through the dunes just like you do.

Edit: I don't know how useful /NIN is in the long run, but I love subbing it. I like to make my tanks work hard to hold hate, and even with a THF I tend to pull hate every couple of fights. Blink keeps me alive and I chuckle quietly while the tank works to get hate back. :spin:

Ironic that you would be so quick to call other people unfriendly for implying you're a noob while you're calling your PT's in valkurm noobs. I guess you would be one of those unfriendly high levels you referred to?

/WAR only shines when you have a good THF or /THF. Otherwise you have to hold back too much so that the /NIN will actually do more damage. Unless you don't hold back, in which case you get hit for crazy damage cuz of RNG paper defense, and waste your mages' MP. In that case you're doing more damage at the expense of your actual experience and team play, since that just means more downtime. A well equipped /NIN will get aggro without a doubt if they don't hold back, so I see no way a well equipped /WAR could go all out.
