Gendawa gets no love?

Alright... couldn't find anything posted on here about the Gendawa. What gives? I figured RNG would be going nuts, but o wellz.

The Gendawa is a new bow from the update before the CoP release, and it has a higher dmg number than the Eurytos bow. I can't test this bow myself (it's lvl 70ish) and frankly I'm surprised to have found nothing on it.

I don't recall the exact stats of either bow, but here's the gist of my memory:

Gendawa has a higher delay than Eurytos, though not huge.
Gendawa is also a much higher level than Eurytos.
Even though the dmg is a few points higher (4/5) it lacks the other stat bonuses. (I think it has like +1/2 STR and AGI maybe?)

Otherwise, it completely lacks that nice +23 RATT (I don't know how much this offsets the damage) and the +2 RACC (not much, but every little bit helps).

This may fall slightly short of the Eurytos, but surely it rivals its power? The factor that surprised me most, naturally:

Eurytos Bow= 4-5,000,000 gil
Gendawa= 50,000 on my server (three in history)

So even if it does fall a little short next to Eurytos bow, it is certainly not much worse to justify paying another 3-4.5 million gil, no? What's your take on this?

It's on par with the other 2 bows that level. (M. Caster & Shigeto)

If it was a mid step, say at level 60 or 65 and a bit weaker than it's current state, then you might see people getting more excited.

What's the delay? That's an important factor as well.

But yeah from what you've listed it doesn't sound that much different than Master Caster bow. The reason why no one really uses these is that after 67 O-bow is generally the most useful ranged weapon for RNG in XPPT, even better than the overpriced e-bow. Most rich people sell their e-bow at 67, not because they need money, but because they just won't be using it after O-bow.

E-bow is still sought after and expensive cuz it's the best ranged weapon for RNG from 55-67. If Gwendall or whatever is 70+, what's the point?

Sarnga - 72 dmg 720 delay level 59
Gendawa - 76 dmg 600 delay AGI+2 level 70
Shigeto bow - 75 dmg 600 delay +15 ratk level 71
MC Bow - 77 dmg 540 delay +7 racc (for windurstians) level 72
(Not including +1's)

I originally was thinking it might be an upgrade of the sarnga but the delay proved me wrong on that. X_x The delay on that bow is 600... that's a 10 or so second delay without ammo assuming ranged weapons follow the same 60 delay = 1 second rule melee weapons do (please don't turn this into an argument about that...). Sarnga is 2 seconds more. But damage over time wise, MC and shigeto will both outdamage the Gendawa. It might be cheaper though which is a benefit but at those levels you should be going all out

nobody got excited over it becaue its a giant piece of crap.

M.Cst bow is better both in delay, base damage, and accuracy.

Nobody really gives a toot about 2 agi at lvl 72. Now if it was a lvl 65ish bow it might be exciting.... but SE just keeps on giving ranger pieces of crap that's not remotely useful in updates.

We have basically 5 normal bows to use. (not counting e-bow because of its extreme overpricedness)

Every bow post lvl 70 is pratically the same thing.... we want some variety. -_-;

You know it might have a secret latent effect such as the Falcastra which in everyway is worse than the Death Scythe but has a chance to add Souleater damage as its hidden effect. Anyone testing done to it?

I would buy it if the latent effect is that you have 10% change of getting 50%TP return when you hit a mob wit that bow. ^^

Don't know if the bow has any hidden effects, usually the name would hint to it. Gendawa though all I've been able to find is that the word is Indonesian for Bow. Every once in a while I catch glimpses were it seems to be set in some mythical backing but I can't find anything giving a good hint of a possible hidden effect.
