I've heard he is a very good NM for Rangers to solo. When can I do this and does anyone know a good strategy? Also we should get a list of good NM's to solo for Ranger and put up some strategies for them. Not talking like Valkurn Emperor. Higher level NM's that we can solo best.

u could take him 70+ use Kabura arrows but I dont recommend till 74. -
I only started soloing this thing at lvl 75 with utsusemi:Ni. I would stay the fight is fairly easy then if nothing links (even tho the worm kicked my ass a few times ;
the key is to spawn him in a location where you can shoot freely at him, away from links and such. you need to make a macro that looks like this:

the ??? from which he spawns pops in fixed locations and moves every 4 seconds, just face the spawn point you would like to fight him at and spam the macro. when he does spawn shoot him at maximum distance with acid/damage bolts. tank everything but stonega III which hits me for 1000-1100+. at my lvl i can take a hit from this but its very unerving to fight a NM with a tick of HP left so dont get hit, run out of range. the only thing that really damages the worm and sticks is slugshot (it regens HP very fast when you un-aggro it)
I wouldnt really recommend camping this NM if you are looking for fast profit. from what I understand the drop rate on the talthum and adaman ore have been severly nerfed since the last patch. I know this from two other rangers that camp this worm. i'm 0/5 on talthum drop from this thing myself.Comment
