Wyvern Helm or Optical Hat

HP+30 STR+5 and some defence

or Acc R.acc and Evasion+10?

I use Optical hat but lately I ahve been seeking the great rangers of siren waring the Wyvernhelm..

What you guys think?

deffinitely optical hat, especially in your case where you're a nin, you need the evasion and accuracy well... isnt nin's best attribute

this is the ranger forum.. meaning i am talking about ranger -_-

And unless ur 70+ you dont have enough experience to comment becuase end game equipment changes.. Accuracy isnt the most important thing..

well i think Wyvernhelm is useless for rng ( plus i never saw rng use it in ragnarok)

most rng i see use optical hat or af

if i was rng (who have enough R.acc ) i go with optical hat + R.acc ring + rupy ring or even 2x rupy ring i think you will get tp faster also without the -acc from the rings

I personally don't have any experience with it, but personally I'd go with the optical hat just for the +evasion. Currently have hairpin so it's the same evasion, and I kinda like that. Somewhat helps when I over fire and get a bit of unwanted hate. But if you're RNG/NIN, the evasion probably isn't that big a deal for you so I'd probably go with whatever you feel you need. If accuracy isn't a big problem, go with wyvernhelm (just for the general bad ass look and for the STR for some extra damage).

Wyvern helm for exp, optical hat for everything else. I managed a record 95% accuracy on suzaku the other day, with every hit doing 139 damage from hellfire (no more, no less).

If you have a bard (which you will..), double stacked prelude is more than enough ranged acc.

those rngs probably picked up a wyvern helm because they were bored... I know I did. Its really not legitimate headgear for doing anything serious in my opinion.

Even if you felt you had some overkill on accuracy, I'd still keep optical hat and get the strength bonus somewhere else. Maybe take off racc-boosting ring and use a str+4 (or in your case, probably str+5:p ) ring in it's place. Optical hat is just too good to replace imo.

If you want str bonuses you can pick up the lvl 70ish RSE belts. +4 str i believe.

the Racc on the helm is too good to give up. People buy the wyvern helm to look good, since there's not much else to do at lvl 75 besides sitting in town and looking good inbetween HNMs and running out to camp/kill random things.

I bought a war aketon since it looks nice.

jesus christ Stan, have you ever seen or heard of pussy? 3 lvl 75 jobs for gods sakes? The hole is in the middle between the legs, feel your way around and you might find it.

For me.......

Wyvern Helm -- for the mob that u can hit consistently(Such as Easy pery and or when you farming)

Optical Hat -- For HNMs, Gods.

In XP pt if u have a brd, u can use Wyvern Helm and still hit most of the time.
