Bows bows bows....

Approaching lvl 71 fast and haven't decided on what bow I'll be using yet.... The choices are:

Shigeto Bow
M.Cst. Bow
Onthius Bow

Shigeto bow has good damage, horrendous delay, no accuracy bonuses. This means lots of TP per shot, but not so accurate barrages.

M.Cst. bow has lower damage than Shigeto, but has good accuracy bonuses if you're windurstian. Good barrage return, but less TP per shot.

Onthius bow has lower damage per shot, but acid/holy bolt combo is good. No accuracy bonuses whatsoever, maybe not so accurate barrages.

Then there's the E-bow, which I'll be using if i ever get it.

Any suggestions/comments/etc?

i would go shigeto bow and onthius bow (why is it called bow when it is a crossbow?, and u cant buy this it is a NM drop)) i have seen some RNG 70+ still using war bow+1 if they cant get e-bow.

M. Casters bow has the best damage, and I think the best ratio of those ones by far. I would go with that if you don't have/use an Oth.

i currently use an Onthius.

Was wondering if the M.Cst bow would be better in terms of damage if you use the acid/holy bolt combo.

I plan to keep the bow maxed out also.... so maybe using M.Cst bow after i get bastok rank 10 and switch to windy allegence...

To me the M.Cst. Bow feels like the best choice for 70+ but then again I am only a low lvl ranger . I myself well probably be useing M.Cst. Bow after I switch to windy and do some rank uping >_> .

I Onthius bow, think there is no bow that can be better. Maybe e-bow but never had that ^^. The acid bolts before renkei help ALOT so not only you are increasing your dmg but also that of your renkei partner.

Between Shigeto Bow and M.Cst. Bow I would choose M.Cst. Bow if you windurstian else Shigeto Bow.

Problem with Onthius bow it will be very bad in tu'lia cause of holy bolts doing alot less dmg cause the extra holy dmg is 0-1.

I would use Onthius bow always except in tu'lia.

I'm never going to stop using Onthius' Bow but sometimes the acid bolts take forever to land (or sometimes doesn't at all) and that cuts down on your damage potential dramatically.

But I'll be taking M.Cst.Bow on raids most likely. ^^
