Holding the bow

I have seen screenshots with people holding the bow sideways, I was wondering if this is because it is a special bow or something? or is it because a race and/or gender?

Elvaans hold the bow Sideways... each race has a unique position for weapons being used.

Do elvaan females hold the bow sideways? Cause I hold mines upright, like a mithra, just a question.

Each Race holds it different. If you pay close attention to the posture you'll notice the Mithra and Hume stance are different. The Tarutaru when they pull it you'll notice their stance is more of like a cutsie form (Imagine cupid or something).

The Hume does it in 1 well known and used stance and the Mithra if you are paying attention they shoot the bow more in a method like Japanese Archery. The Galka just shoot the bow no real proper posture, but they do seem to pull very far back on that bow. The Elvaan will shoot the bow sideways.

Same if you watch then shoot guns. The Hume do it in the standard method you would shoot it. The Mithra have their own stance to emphasize more their cat like nature. The Elvaan tend to take something like a classic gangster stance with the gun, and the Galka I've never seen use so I can't say.

Yeah, elvaan owns. i would like to change it for a stance, like a elv holding a sword looks very gay. i would like to see that u could pick between 2-3 ways to hold it./

i kinda feel stupid pulling a bow from my ass and arrows from my back. nice if SE would do that for us RNG. SE knows we dont use a damn knife or axe most of the time. i think this moment calls for a . /slap SE!

HEY! We do just fine pulling back our bow. ^^ I was just outdamaging a Mithra rng of the same lvl earlier. She was using horn arrows and no food. I was using silver arrows and meat mithkabob and ryl. ft man gloves, and I was doing 30~ more dmg than her. It was fun. 100 dmg per shot is so nice to see at my lvll. Gotta love them acid bolts. :-D

If you notice, truly only the Taru and Elvaan men have unique forms of firing the bow, the others are not so dynamic enough to warrant there own style.

Dispight Elven Grace the ment have a very lackluster way of firing, it does not lend itself well to aiming or arch of motion.

Taru Taru on the other hand have very original forms of firing Arrows, they may be tiny but the style is very much like Ancient Zen Meditative Archery.
