Strategy for obtaining E-bow

All that says is you know how to farm them. The only thing thf has got on ranger at that point is TH2.

Those tabars are some meanies though.

not really i do more dmg at 58 with Sidewinder than a 61 thf with DE

one method to obtain eurytos buy ( thats the way i do it)

And yeh THF is better for farming I meant Wide Scan is a must... and you have to sub RNG to get it or BST. But even still your widescan is smaller then mine is at the same level. You have flee, so do I. The only thing you have is TH2 but like the other guys said exactly how long does it take you to kill one? lol. At 55 they are very easy for a RNG. At 60 with DE maybe its easy for THF but by then.. why farm tabars? So yes RNG are best for farming tabars at 55.

(I farm goobues now.. when I farm which is hardly ever BCNM 60's and NMs are great past 60)

As most of you know, I am huge avocator of guns over bows ( i.e. this post: http://www.ffxionline.com/forums/sho...threadid=32841 ). BUT for the Ebow, I must make an exception and take my hat off to that weapon. It is far and away the single best upgrade for a bow wielding ranger until the highest levels ( 70+ where other bows can match the Ebow, but guns gain an even larger advantage vs archery anyways ).

So obsession? I think not.

4 million gil, however, is just far too much for anyone to be expected to farm for a single item. If they have it, great. But expecting someone to have a 4 mil item is just... yeah. Wow. Eventually, people should upgrade their gear, but Eurytos's Bow is not something that someone will get their hands upon if it's their first time getting to level 50 or higher.

If they are, well... then they wasted a lot of time farming for it when they could have gotten it so much more easily later on. I mean, it's not "wasted time", but it's definitely not spending your time "wisely". No one's going to gripe at a Ranger for not having an EBow. Got one? Great. Don't have one? No one's going to notice the difference anyway unless they inspect you.

Compared to a warbow +1, it does a significantly higher damage, not to mention str and agi are just icing on the cake.

although 4 mil worth of noticable? I don't think so myself.

That is absolutely insane! 6.5mil huh.....so not worth it.
Just use a war bow/musketeer's gun and buy a Peacock charm. Then bribe your LS to camp Othinus' Bow at lv67.
