Ranger NM Solo Ability?

I was just curious with a Nin Sub have any rangers attemped to solo tougher NM's like Amemet or Serket, etc... or Do you need to be a Main Job Ninja for this?


For I know Rangers are excellent at killing lower NM's with SW one shots etc... Just curious how well this extended to tougher stuff...

it would be possible for rng/nin to solo amemit at 74+, this I am sure of.. BUT it would definitely take a little different strategy than fighting other nm's (his petrify attack has to be accounted for by using special gear such as very low delay crossbow with special bolts )
not only that, but it would take a long time to kill him, and alot of shihei.

But it's very possible once you get both utsusemi ichi and ni.

Use only sleep arrows? Would take a long time to kill though. :sweat:

(I believe sleep arrows sleep everytime if they land, and don't wake the monster up if they miss. Correct me if I'm wrong)

turn around and blazeful gaze doesnt affect you. but you need to turn before he actually starts it x.x
