Does your strength take a big part of how much damage your bow does? If so, why do rangers have low strength? Does strength also help you when using a gun/crossbow.

STR does affect bow damage. Whether or not it's a "big" part of ranger damage is personal opinion, but i think most rangers would say the STR difference between most races does not stop them from being good rangers.
STR is low because of most of the auto-allocated points go to AGI for ranged accuracy.
