Ranger Damage
Hi all, i might start a rng/nin to get away from leveling bst for awhile...and if i like it i might stay for the long run.Anyway ive been reading how mithra make the "ideal" ranger because of there naturally high dex+agi with taru coming in 2nd.I understand that race doesnt play a huge role ect but i am just wondering as a taru ranger will my dmg be consistant at high levels with higher str classes such as elv?i know alot of you will say doesnt matter what race ect ect just equip and player skill.Understandable,but as i have no experience with rng i am worried that elvaan rngs will be outdamaging me later on.....which just isnt acceptable..as i like to be the "best" at what i do.Thanks :sweat:

At the highest levels, Rangers will be using guns anyways - which is not dependent on STR ( Elvaan's Strength ... pun intended ^^ ) so that's where Mithras and Tarus will outshine them. Cause at the highest tier, you'll most likely shoot (ooh, another pun ^^) for +Ranged Acc and +Ranged Attack bonuses. Assuming equal equipment, Mithras and Tarus have better AGI (for ranged acc) and DEX (heard this effects ranged criticals) which makes them marginally better. Doesn't mean Elvaan Rangers are gimped at all, just if you're a Munchkin (min/maxer), pick Mithra for "very best" or Taru if you want a cute little guy running around wielding a gun
