  • Specific questions about elemental arrow usage.

I am lv40, soon to be nearing lv45 where as you probably know already, elemental arrows are available to be used. My main question is this:

During a typical exp party, is the ranger expected to have nothing but elemental arrows coming off the bow?
I have gotten used to shooting the scorpion arrows at lv40 and they are quite a bit cheaper for me to be using (about 1/3 the price per stack).

Also, are there any situations in which elemental arrows are just not efficient on a damage basis?

Thank you for taking the time to read my questions!

I can only see elemental arrows being better against monsters that are weak to the attribute... Anyways, have no experience with this myself yet, but I'd imagine scorpion arrows is a good allrounder, and I don't think people would be expecting you to be using elemental arrows at all times.

Elemental Arrows do good dmg, they arent exactly required since they are 4k-5k a stack and only really really good against the opposing element. However if you are in a BC or NM fight Id require to have these and the correct ones.

By 45-50 You better be using scorp arrows though.

I'd say that scorpion arrows should be THE arrows to use in a leveling PT. They're cheap to make, and are quite good. Of course, use your gun+silver bullets combo to make sure your marksmenship skills are up to date as well (or to show off).
