    Sub what you want...

It's a game. Sure, min/maxers will tell you that your doing something wrong, they won't invite you, and *gasp* you might be doing 10 damage less a hit.

But it's your character, play what you want. A RNG/THF would certainly get less invites than a RNG/WAR, but I'd still invite one. Just because somebody doesn't use the same cookie-cutter combo as 90% of everybody else in the game, doesn't mean your wrong.

It's a game, do what you LIKE to do. Heck, even if you never level...does it really matter?

    Ramuh, Leviathan, Shiva, Ifrit acquired.

You can do whatever you like but its not good. Simple as that. Thats a lame argument.

Its quite obvious you pick something that complements your job. Hell you may invite a rng/thf but I wont just like I wont invite a whm/war or a drk/rdm... In a party you are supposed to do a specific job, a Whm heals, a Drk-Rng does dmg, etc .. You could be effective at your job or crappy at 2 things.

If you are getting something that doesn't do you any good then having it or not is not a problem.

Most people go into subs that either enhance thier ability (rng/war = power, rng/nin = acc, rng/sam = TP) and/or helps them to fill in their weakness (rng/nin = blink, rng/war = +10def, rng/sam = dodge 1 time).

If a sub job doesn't help you in anyway that profits you (ie whm/war with +10def and beserk/provoke is useless) then you better off picking something else.

Some people tell me about stat, well, I'll have to say that even with the extreme case (rng/whm and rng/war) there is no much different or it's too small to notice in practice.
