A guy in my linkshell has said that in the recent patch they 'fixed' worms so that mages and rangers couldn't solo them like they had been able to do in the past.
He said that a worm will eventually bury itself for good if you take too long to kill it, I.E. escaping it's range, waiting, going back and attacking again. I tried to do this with my samurai using his bow, and indeed the worm dissapeared at about half hp. (It did NOT re-appear)
I've also noticed worms have a much larger casting distance than before, so you can't even get out of their magic range period, at least with the ones casting Stone I.
Any credibility to all this? I hope not.
