I think subbing /sam is a double edge sword. You gain tp the fastest, but have to watch yourself going overboard. Whats the point in gaining TP pretty fast but having to wait to do your WS for hate control?

Third eye sure is handy, it doesnt cost gil like blink, but it will only be good for 1 hit.

Because:

Sam = Higher Str than ninja (higher bow damage)

Sam = More TP than ninja, so Sidewinder is more accurate (+TP = +Acc for Sidewinder)

Umm I overlooked the +tp/accuracy. I guess /SAM can work for Mithra or Humes...but as a Taru, I rather go with the safety of blink(dual archers knife and so on). I may screw up, go overboard and get my ass handed to me in 2 shots.

yeah, the whole higher TP = higher % hit rate is fairly bs.
i'm sure it effects it, but from my experience the effect is minimal.

i can't count how many times i've been > 200% against VT+ or IT and missed, but being close to 100% against IT++ and hitting it.

the only reason i would sub sam is if i had a bard and war in my PT, so i could (shield break) side > concentrate > side (> barrage > side). nothing's gonna survive that XD

That is the basis of my set PT WAR+BRD does wonders with SB and Attackx2 songs.

As for higher TP = higher % hit rate, my experience is that it does help quite a bit? Before having the WAR in the set PT, I always do this : charge 200TP for tote2 (IT), 150TP for tote(VT), and 100TP for others.

However, from lv70 on, you will want to sub WAR instead of anything else. The attack+ passive ability, berserk and warcry are simply too good. You'll want to use provoke to control the hate for the DRK to do spinslash anyway.
