  • STR affects Gun DMG?

Ive heard STR does affect the damage done by Bows, but does the gun damage get affected to?

If it doesn't, then there should be no reason to have /WAR by the end game...

I have heard that the only thing that affects gun damage is the skill you have in marksmenship. I could be wrong, but I remember hearing that somewhere.

I dont think it effects it because arrow dmg goes up to 25 per arrow and bow is like lets say 50 for a good one. While a bullet is at like 50 dmg and gun is alot. Im sorry im not giving real numbers but if anyone can gi ve me stats of bullets and weapons it would be helpful to analyze this. Str is not a factor in guns. BUT! Thats just from logical thinking so dont listen to me.

          for RNG

          more
          str=damage for range attack
agi=accuracy and critical rate for range attack

with berserk and warcry can boost damage alot...but RNG's WS can miss...so it's better to /nin and use 2 archer's knife or 2 hawkeye's knife

Farplaner said (somewhere) that STR only effects bow damage, and has no baring on gun damage.
            And he should know ~_^

i'm sorry, you seem to make even less sense than your previous post.
                what are you talking about?

i read the posts. people want to know if STR effects guns. i'm passing on information that i read - and who wrote what i read, so people can be fairly certain it's accurate information.

I don't know why STR not affecting gun damage would change your opinion of /WAR sub, because WAR sub's passive ability is "attack power up", not "STR up".

And it's true, gun damage is not affected by STR stat.

I was able to deduce the above solely by reading the thread.

just to make this thread more confusing
                      does strength effect crossbow's?
i can see how it could almost effect bow's with some kind of logic (the more strength you have the harder you can pull the string my bow is of the highest quality and wont snap)

Crossbow is the same as a gun. Its marksmanship.
