2 questions (Silver Arrows + Guns)

1) Where can I BUY Silver Arrows from a merchant? I've bought my iron and bone arrows from merchants, and they are much cheaper than AH, but now I can't find Silver Arrows.

2) What level do guns become effective? What makes them effective? Someone in my LS bought me a gun and a stack of bullets, and I'm afraid to waste the bullets if it isnt going to be effective now (I am 25RNG/10NIN)

1) if your nation is top of the rankings, you can buy silver arrow (for around 17g a piece) from your local weapons shop (I think)...
I can in San, but I've never played from another nation, but I'm sure it applies there too.

2) Lv50. They're a waste before then.

I'm quite positive one of the goblins in the goblin shop in Jeuno sells silver arrows. They're level 14 arrows, right? If so, they sell for 8 gil a piece there (I have fairly high fame, not sure how much difference it makes on an 8gil item).

Edit: Nm, I think those were iron arrows, not silver arrows, sorry. :/

at lv50, you can use lv50 bullets, up until then your bullet choices are very limited
