I'm curious as to what the "Remote Scan" option is when you select a mob... It's under Track.
As far as I can tell it places a neat little white circle, and focus on the mobs in the area under that icon... however you cannot see anything outside your normal Scan Range.
I believe remote scan limits the amount of area scanned to wherever you position the circle (but the monsters still have to be in range of your wide scan). This shortens the list of monsters so that you can focus on the monsters in the direction you are heading.
I could be wrong but that's how I've been using it
I believe in karma. Anyone I treat badly probably deserved it.
I wish it would put names to all the dots on the radar. That would probably be a lil crowded tho. Or I wish you could have a small windowed version of the map.
I actually mad a macro for /map ... how lazy is that? lol
The /map thing is a good idea, it doesnt make you any less lazy than me... Ive been dreaming of a controller that reads your mind becuase im too lazy to type and push the buttons on my controller:sweat:
As far as I understand it, your wide area scan will increase. It seems to cap though on the number of monsters you can detect within the range of your current location. So if your in an area filling a lot of monsters the only ones you'll end up seeing are the closest ones, in a place were monsters are more spread out you'll notice at lower levels you only pick up 1 or 2 monster in the spread out area and as level advances you'll pick up more because the range the wide area scan goes when searching for monsters has increased.
Though that's all info I've been given so can't verify for you.
