Warriors, Theifs, Redmages, Rangers, Samurai and Ninjas can all use bows. Because I'll be starting the game as a Theif, Is it contradictory to say that I'll be able to get a head start on my archery skills before level thirty?
Also, throughout these threads I have found it quite obvious that it is expensive to maintain a decent ranger status, What is the best money making opputunity available for a player out there?
I intended on beginning with Carpentry or Blacksmithing because I was sure armor was going to be a hot hand when it came to selling armor. And the ability to make my own arrows is priceless itself. Now, Alchemy looks like it'll be best for improving armor for my personal equipment. BUT it seems like a Tanner's guild would be best because I'm not going to be using much heavy armor so it'd be best to have something tough, light and useful.
What are your suggestions for guilds to benefit a ranger personally and economically?
