Is THF->NIN/THF->RNG/NIN a recommendable path?

I've always planned to be a ranger, and I was told that RNG/NIN was a good combo because of the extra DEX and AGI and the dual-wielded ranger knives. I started as a thief to use it as a gil farmer later on and to have a decent subjob for ninja.

I want to hear your opinion. Did I make a good choice or am I just a numb-brained idiot?

BTW, I'm Elvaan and I don't care, I'm doing pretty well as a thief. :p

NIN/THF is not a good combo (according to me ), so you may want to level up WAR a little bit to use NIN/WAR...

Why isnt NIN/THF a good combo? If your gonna tank with NIN its not as good but the extra AGI and DEX boost will help the NIN quite a bit wont it?

i grouped w/ 24rng/12nin today and he did really decent damage. he Blink jus incase b4 a pull and grabbed giants in Def. He concentrated more on bow attacks but meelee wasnt to bad. And ninjutsu looks bad ass=P
