elvaan-mithra ranger

ok this has been on my mind for several days and im getting obsesed by it (


im not counting any extra agi etc from rings and equip because both races could do that .

mithra = more dex and agi = good for ranger but at higher ranger levels you get passive accuracy bonuses

isent going for elvaan = less agi dex but more str= more dmg but less accuracy += later on higher levels does the passive increase accuracy elp enough so that you hit enough and with far greater dmg than mithra with less str?


i mean like if mithra is very accurate and at high levels even more so isent that wasting too much accuracy ?

like elvaan will be very hard low ranger because low accuracy but lateron with passive he will hit enough and have higher damage than a mithra?

kinda like in diablo2 when you could 1give your char low skills that will give you easy life until hell then youre screwed or 2 have hard time but not waste any skills and wait for that ultimate lvl 30 skill and pump that instead of the lower skills


my point is elvaan hard at first but more dam and reasonable accuracy lateron or
mithra easy at first but no reall increase from the higher accuracy bonus ?



i really cant sleep i want elvaan but i just cant live with knowing i have a gimped char


is the elvaan high str worth it in lateron when beeing level 50 ranger and getting those bonusses also equip etc ?

plz help me im going mad

also i hope to only get info based on real feedback not imaginary
i do not mean this insulting but if i now hear more rumors ill have a heartattack i need good clean answers based on hard facts and expierience

dex = weapon accuracy

right?

or does dex play some role in dmg? not just how often you hit.


and at lvl 50 how much diff does it make hit vs dmg

Dex also increases your critical hit chance rate.

Alright. For ranged weapons, AGI dictates how often you hit (obviously).

Now, in my experience, i've noticed that its basically a 2:1 ration for +AGI:+RNGACC

and if you keep this in mind (and note how much ranged accuracy increases you get over your time as a ranger...its a lot. 12-20 ish?) then look at the AGI difference (which is large, but not astronomically gaping... maybe a dozen? (this = approximatly +6 ranged accuracy), then you will see not that much of a difference. For instance, my ranger has like 20 AGI (10 ranged accuracy?) But then the bow adds 2-5 (its late, im tired), ranger necklace will add 5, bonering+1 will add 3 (two of them)

So that means 10 + [5+5+3+3] = 26. Only ten of that was actually natural. You following what i'm trying to say?


In the end, the equipment makes the ranger. (one of the reasons its called the most expensive class, or second [ninja?])

I think the point he is trying to get across is that will Elvaan be more top tier than Mithra later on due to accuracy caps and the fact that Elvaan will have a lot more strength.

In my opinion, rangers are considered awesome dmg dealers but are never wanted for BCNM and HNM fights due to there high miss rate despite awesome equipment...My question is, will a high lvl Rng Mithra still miss a shitload on these types of mobs?

Personally I have to say i love seeing big dmg but what I despise most is seeing myself miss...Elvaans = king of miss and lowest agi in game...

Play what race you like the most and stop worrying about starting stats, you wont be gimp.
