rng vs. thf

yea i was also thinking that i could always switch for the right occasion and also this would work good becuase i will have warrior lvled and ninja along with samurai which are best 3 subs for ranger but right now i cant wait to be a thf.
i think its one of the most rewarding classes in my opinion cuz of there abilities to treasure hunt dont great damage and hide and flee so... u live longest in the group ( a plus too me) have most money and do great damage

There's only a handfull of people on the board who have one job maxed, and even less with two or more jobs at 60+, don' mean to sound rude, but it's unlikely you'll max two jobs to 70, doubted even one, seeing as how long some of the importers played (I know there is the language barrier and what not, but I'm pretty sure importers playing that long have learned the language)and they aren't at 70.

for those that start playing since Ps2 release having 203 jobs level 70 isn't that hard with that amount of time (and a lot of JP do have 3+ jobs level 70...)

not many importers import jp ps2 and harddrive for that game you know. btw I got 70rdm 57thf right now :D give me 1 more month and i can have 70thf. then give me 3 more weeks and i can have another 70 BRD :E

I am a RNG, and I like it very much so.
The dmg is awesome, but the def rivals that of a DRK -_-
Yeah,I either go RNG/NIN or RNG/DRK, either for dual weilding or or awesome dmg.

And about the moeny factor, I knew I was going to be a RNG since i got the beta. So i knew to save my money. I didnt tell anyone I had the money, but they still liked to donate

I think when I started the RNG, i had a lil over 220K, and you know the saying, the rich like to brag how much they have spent and the poor like to brag how much they saved, well call me poor cuz i have 160K and some odd gil left =P.

yea right now the max lvl is 70 and soon it suppose to rise to lvl 75 and is suppose to keep going to i think lvl 225 but this will be a long long time away.

but yea i prefer the thief now more than ranger just cuz it appeals to me more and the rangers and thiefs ive pm'ed the thiefs are always nicer. so imo nicer= happier, or a happier player

also pvp is suppose to be coming out soon. who do u think will be the best person in 1 on 1 pvp im thinking thief is hide works the way i think it does or sneak

Why didn't SE give the thief a green Do Rag as the af helm instead of that awful looking one they have now? I mean just about every FF out there that even has thf in it had some type of bandana either rapped around their head ie locke style or Do rag style like FF1 Remake, FFt, FFV, and every other FF. IMO they'd look a lot better. Tis a shame really


Now on to topic.

Ranger is an awesome class, I was with one of my LS members who speaks fluient japanies showing me the pure damage a RNG could do and I was amazed. Sidewinder and Slugshot are awesome abilities. And I would lvl a ranger in a heart beat if it were not the low income of gil I attain with my WHM and my thf only be a shy few lvls about 40 now am having a hard time finding ppl to do some bcnm40's with me so I can gain some xtra cash quickly.

Ranger Af looks kinda gay IMO, but females look good in it. Don't know a single af where females don't look good or at least decent in. Sucks for those male characters MUAHAH *points at jei and laughs* jk.. please don't hurt me, i bleed easily

yea id say thf and rng af looks pretty bad compared to someothers but i saw a few new thiefs armors that rival af and i gotta say there pretty darn good looking.

elvaan's make great rnger's but uhh do they look bad so huge and lengthy

so i think mithra will look best in thf and rng af's.
