Bronze Bullets (Lvl 1) require Alchemy and Blacksmith skill.
Fire Crystal, 1x Bronze Ingot, 1x Detonator
Detonator is Earth Crystal, 1x Sulfur, 2x Bomb Ash I *think*
Bomb Ash can be bought in Metalworks in Bastok, or dropped by Shrapnel (and other bomb types?)
Bullets (Lvl 22) and Silver Bullets (Lvl 50) require Alchemy and Goldsmith skill.
Bullet: Fire Crystal, 1x Brass Ingot, 1x Detonator
(These can also be bought in Bastok Metalworks, and maybe elsewhere too?)
Silver Bullet: Fire Crystal, 1x Silver Ingot, 1x Detonator
Now don't go shoot your eye out.

Neban! Cool to see you. Anyway, thanks for those recipes. A level 40 alchemist told me that the level 22 bullets were made from bronze ingots and firesand. I'm pretty sure it's not difficult to get firesand and the bomb stuff can be found off of the bomb type monsters in the Bastok area (and perhaps other areas). Also, to actually synthesize the bullets you only need the alchemy skill. If you're going to make all of the components yourself, however, you need the other guilds mentioned. For the most part, though, those ingredients can be easily aquired.

When a formula is said to require multiple skills (in this case Alchemy and Blacksmith/Goldsmith) it is not implying that you need the smith skill to make the ingot and the Alchemy to make the bullet, it is indeed suggesting that you have both skills to attempt the formula. (Which only makes sense, after all, you are working both with chemicals and metals). You can test this fact even with low level formulas, though it is rather counter productive to do so.
I'm also not sure of the official translation of the Detonator, it may very well be the firesand you mention.
Hope to see you out there soon!

Hmm, well, I talked to a level 40 alchemist - just an alchemist - who made bullets and sold them. He even sent me some at the end of the beta. Also, if you needed both skills to synthesize it, wouldn't your skill go up in both skills? I know that there are alternate formulas for things. For instance, there's a formula for bone arrows that actually requires bonecrafting and only raises bonecrafting. However, there's a more efficient formula that requires only woodworking and only raises woodworking. I know that from experience, and was surprised when I discovered that.

Your skill DOES go up in both skills. I've had this happen to me multiple times. A harpoon is a good low level example. It is a woodworking formula that also requires boneworking skill. It often raised my boneworking skill rather than, or in addition to, woodworking.

It totally depends on the formula and what the guild people tell you (they will tell you what skills are needed). Just because an item requires materials from multiple guilds, does not mean it needs multiple skills. For example, fishing rods use wood and thread, but only require wood working skill. On the other hand, I made a bed (wood working formula) but it raised both cloth and wood working skill.
Edit:
And to expand on that a bit more, usually when an item requires multiple skills, the secondary skills don't need to be nearly as high as the main skill. For example, with the bullet formula, recommended Alchemy level is 40, and blacksmith 18. As you and I both experienced, the skill levels that are suggested on most of the formula lists available on the web are highly inflated.
