Keep in mind.. Once you have amazing accuracy - more accuracy / agi isn't going to help anymore.. You're going to be short on damage...

Going Rng/Sam personally.. Once you get high acc - damage is all that is going to matter.. Massive TPs will let you WS like crazy which is the key ;p

Alright well I took that into consideration, and well, I wanted to be different, SO I made a galkan ranger. I wanna make Galkan Rng/Nin. Natural Galkan Str contributes to late game damage while agi boosting and accuracy boosting equip brings up the lack of agi. So far been working out well, really can level a lot faster than I could with Mithraa warrior to get to 30 so I can go ranger. Anyone got any thoughts on that? Galkan Rng/Nin. Unique?

I was just browsing the auction and came upon an item called Amemit mantle which is 8DEF(i think) and ranged attack+10 ranged accuracy +10 and the Amemit mantle+1 has 9 DEF ranged attack +15 ranged accuracy +15. Does anyone know the recipe for this?

edit: must have been sleepy or something but it adds 10 to range attack/attack, but also adds 1 to STR and 1 to VIT

Not for your ranged attack. There are skills that rangers can learn that are much better though and are for your ranged attack.

dex adds critical hit chance up. I'm not sure what else it does.

This is a mantle made from the "skin of amemet". Similar to Behemoth mantle, you've guessed it, it is an NM drop (lizard NM in kuftal).

Ok so I have read that Rangers can't hit rare monsters, which I find dissapointing, but what about the Shadow Lord?

Has any Ranger fought the Shadow Lord?

Is there any way around the constant missing with the range attacks against rare monsters, or do I just have to wait till I have high enough accuracy?

And for my final questions does anybody know if capes or hooded cloaks show on your character or not? They are very expensive and I don't wont to buy one just to find out I can't see it.

rnagers are ok against the shadow lord you will be able to hit it if you have ok equip and are a decent level. THe reason ranger is not so accurate vs HNM is because HNM is much hiughwer level than the ppl fighting it and has igher evade then their accuracy. And yes you can get +ranged accuracy items and stuff. good bows have increases in range accuracy as do rings and the ranger necklace you get for finishing the job. But that struff can get expensive. I have pted with sme wicked high rank rangers before and it seems that most rangers with other high level jobs ONLY use HQ bows. regular bows are hard to find. and they also get HQ rings with +acc like scorpion ring or beetle ring
