Paladin/monk High hp and def

paladins are meant to have taunt...... they are almost useless to a party without it if they don't have it from what i've read. I agree it's a good combo. But it defeits the purpose of protecting your allies.

Well in a way we do, use Sentinel+Cure IV can be used as another taunt option but that could be used during high levels. You could try Cure II/III at earlier levels. It's not guaranteed to work always thats the problem and could be dangerous for your other team members.

Yeah, what's the point of a Paladin having no Taunt option when it's a tank? And I don't think there is any point in trying a job that specializes in Hand to Hand or claw combat, and then get a main job that specializes in swords and shields!

I am thinking of being a pally my self... but I hear they are only a defensive job... is this ture?

No, actually, MrGamer, their attack is quite good for a meat shield... some Drk's think they should lower the att. power of Paladins, because Paladin's have AWESOME Defense and Pretty good Attack... so, I wouldn't exactly say that Paladin's are an only defense job, but that's what they should/will be used for at higher level PT's, with the attack once and a while... once you get to higher levels you must focus on casting protection spells and using taunt to taunt your opponent to you and to protect the mages and other weaker warriors. It's just basically how you play it. ^_^
