Currently I am using Rush Gloves. I liked the stats over the I.M. Gauntlets for a def build. I didn't mind the mind -3 since I hit the softcaps of my cures any ways

I figured I'd ask this here...

My LS is stuck in the stone age when it comes to PLD it seems. I hit 55 the other night and just completed my AF. Looking over my gear choices, most of the PLD AF looks pretty good full-time except the Surcoat. I can't possibly see any justification to full-time that thing over a Haub, yet my LS is constantly derriding me over this >_>

I'm pretty sure a 7% gain in hit rate is going to outstrip a 2% gain in enmity. But any time I even try argue for the DD PLD they laugh and call me an idiot etc...

I understand that End game is very different from EXP, but to me, it stands to reason that if you can decently hit something you should gear for accuracy since it's been proven that you gain far more enmity for doing damage than curing (which they also dispute, and then proceed to laugh @ the math... idiots)

So am I right in my thinking or what? I mean especially once I get Atonement, assuming I'm able to hit decently wouldn't it make sense to use Sushi and spam atonement to keep hate? (Not to mention the 750 damage...) I have a joyeuse btw.

Your LS PLDs are a bunch of ignorant saps at best, idiots at worst. I'm inclined towards the latter since they scoff at math and logic.

Also I would definitely take Fourth Gauntlets over Gallant.

Gonna want Dusk at 72 too unless you have better options.

I have Dusk & Forth Gloves actually and I'm working on getting Homam since that stuff is just PLD Gold (Haste & Enmity ftw WOOT)

-.- most people on Seraph also seem to have an absurdly hard time understanding, no matter how much I explain it, that Double March is a million times more powerful than Victory March + Minuet IV... they just can't see that 20% Haste is going to have a dramatic impact on damage compared to 9 haste and 65 attack.
