Mermaid ring macros

Hello fellow Tanks!

After two good drops on "Royal Jelly" runs,I went ahead and bought a mermaid's ring.
Please check out the "base" macro I plan to use.

/equip l.ring "Mermaid's Ring"
/ws/ja/ma
/wait 3 (to ensure line 2 has taken effect)
/equip l.ring "Verve Ring"

Do I need to put in a /wait between lines 1 and 2?
Or is the hate boost immediate the instant you equip the ring.

I want to use the mermaid on every action I do and
switch back to verves in between the ja,ws,cures.

Grain of salt: I haven't tried that myself, but I think your macro template should be ok there (obviously line 2 varies with each ability).

That said, you may want to just skip the whole gear swap for the ring entirely. Reason being that you're *not* getting the +Emnity on every action that way -> you're missing out on +Emnity for all of your sword swings. Paladin damage may not seem like a lot but it very definitely helps you hold hate.

My suggestion is give tanking a try to with just the Mermaid Ring and no gear swapping and see if you notice yourself taking any more damage than with the Verve.

What Slip said. Keep the ring on full time unless you happen to have some Woodsman Rings. 3 VIT doesn't do anywhere nearly enough to justify passing up a Mermaid's or Woodsman Ring.
