Actually, if you can play a RDM at perfection level, playing NIN is like hitting the "I win" button. I can main tank NIN in Qufim on Gigas at level 20. What matters is that the party is functioning well. NIN doesn't take any more or less a skill to play than any other job - with the exception of MNK. I never saw any level of challenge, because if you're twinked, hasted and at least half awake and know your "1, 2, 3" (But not necessarily your "A B C") then you can do it. A 9 year old can.

I think this is a deconstructive attitude exhibited by players who are comfortable with the status quo - even if it means standing by a defective product. Which is what you're doing right now.

That pretty much confirms it. Playing Rdm doesnt mean you're good in playing Nin. Not everyone counts shadows, enfeebles, provokes and uses their powders wisely.

It depends how to read it. I meant it this way: If you ever played a DD, you will know how hard it is to get a party at certain levels. A lot of people complain about it in the forums. It's normal really. You can go for hours and sometimes even days looking for an Xp party. Doesnt that fall in the same category as a Paladin looking for a party for certain events? If you dont have a party invite, build one.

Both NIN tank and RDM are busy jobs. However, the margin of error of NIN tank is thiner compare to RDM in most situation in exp. party, in my opinion.

If the NIN tank makes a mistake, the mob does not wait for the NIN to recover from his error. Its goal is to kill its enemy, start from the top to the bottom of the hate list. NIN tank spams Ninjitsu and Provoke because party survival and hate management is urgent: Utsusemi has to be in effect before the mob attacks, the NIN has to be on top of the hate list before others. NIN tank has to fight with time.

To me, RDM leans more on the management side (maybe except taking main healing role). Should the RDM cast Cure IV or Cure III? Should the RDM cast Dia or Bio? Should the RDM Refresh the DRK? Who should get Haste first? To nuke or not to nuke? The list goes on and on....

Both jobs are busy, but they are two different animals.

Same can be said of a PLD. If PLD is a recipient of a triple attack that scores a crit on each of those hits and the PLD has just used flash and the WHM throws on Cure IV, there's no real way of getting another spike unless all of the JAs are not on cooldown (But this is not always the case and then the PLD is just as helpless)

I've seen plenty NINs and PLDs go down fast on a nasty sickleslash if the healer/PLD is not fast enough to cast the cure to save the situation.

Anyone who doesn't do what you've just described will be dead in a few seconds. That's like trying to say "Well, not everybody drives a car with their eyes open." Your point goes nowhere.
