New Char

I'm thinking of starting a second char eventually, and I wanted it to be Elvaan, and I wanted it to be a melee-based char, b/c my current char is a mage. It seemed like PLD would be a good job for Elvaan, b/c they are high in STR and MND. I haven't researched PLD much, but it PLD/WHM a common job/sub-job, or even viable? I know PLD becomes a solid tank in late game, and Elvaan seems well-suited to the job? Is all of this correct/ anything else I should know?

Haha, linked to an outdated guide. I suggest ignoring the equipment bits in that guide and focus on the first half or so, that part of it is timeless.

Edit: Actually, you know what? Ignore the top half too. It is made of closeminded and cookie cutter.

wel, str isnt all that importent for a pld, but its always helpful but in either way, a elvaan will make a good pld, good mnd, def, and it can do some good dmg

honestly, aside from some information being outdated, much of that guide (i feel) is still very good. especially for someone new to the job
