I've noticed that hate holding has been a little wonky lately but one incident from my last xp party stood at as very peculiar.
We were in the Boyadha Tree, fighting Processionaires (Crawlers). Our bard went out and pulled a Crawler with Foe Requiem V and brought it on back to our camp. On the way in I engaged, used Provoke, cast Flash...and it still kept hitting him!
It only happened that one time (a Cure 3 on him got the crawler over to me where it stayed for the rest of the fight) but even so it really seemed strange. Given that I was in full AF + had a Hi-Breath Mantle charge active (got tired of losing hate even briefly to Ancient Magic bursts) + had a Titanis earring on with Minne on me (really really tired of losing hate) there's no way the mob should have stayed with the Bard that long. Heck I could have been wearing -Emnity gear and Provoke should still *way* overpower Foe Requiem.
I asked the bard after the fight if he'd done anything special to add extra hate to the mob and he said no, just the Foe Req.
It may have been just an odd one time bug, especially since it didn't happen again that night, but I thought I'd throw it out there in case any of you folks have run into strange hate glitches since the new claiming update went into effect.
