My 2 cents: I always prefer a pld tank in an experience party, purely because it takes a great deal more skill to be successful tank as a nin than as a pld, and in my experience most people who play nin don't have the skill for it.

i will agree with you that shieding skill is screwed up. then again i think parrying skill is screwed up. to me they dont kick in more then they should. specially when both jobs are rated as an A in their respective cats.

i only say this because all i ever hear is ls mates whining cause they are a pld. an everyone wants a nin. they whine at endgame cause nobody wants a pld as a tank unless its faust. but hey whatever floats your boat.

if you talk about end game, pld is the way to do. all gods, most sky/sea hnm, pld is almost always the only tank we use.
merit and exp pt tho is a whole different story. everyone just loves ninja for merit (except when we fight skeletons).

my ls hasnt used a pld on the gods in about 6 months

Well gee I guess that means from server to server and ls to ls paladins are looking at entirely different situations for endgame content, making this whole arguement from little ninja's first post to little ninja's last post, stupid and pointless in addition to assinine and off-topic.

Regardless the fact is unless ur pimped out in both DD and tank gear nins can do bothhnms and merits/xp while Pld's have a harder time with the later nuff said

well ya gotta give the kid a heads up. let him know that pld are below average compared to a nin. let him know that the pld road was a cake walk 2 yrs ago. now they struggle just as bad as the 99 DD we have running around.

so hate me all you want but its a sad fact. so in the months to come when the why why why threads start to pop up. you know i will be the first one to /comfort then /laugh
