Totaly stuck.

Hi there everyone,

I am a Tarudin, and I'm reaching level 75 (currently level 73), and I'm stuck in terms of what gear to get/aim for.

At the moment I have my AF, Adaman helmet, koenig shield, durandal and company swords, staffs, steppe sash, jelly ring, hercules' ring, pigeon earrings, knightly mantle, rosenbogen and iron muskateer's gorget. I got a pair of physical earrings, because I was told they do better in god situations.

I have just recently joined a nice sky/dynamis shell, due to a few close friends being in.

And I really just don't know what gear to aim for. I was told adaman isn't all that great for a tarudin, and there's nothing else I can think of other than koenig (which is out of the question right now).

Don't forget the Kings/Lords gear. The +HP and -MP stats will play really well for Taru Paladins. Keep working hard for your new sky LS so you're in line for any Martial Abjurations that drop of Genbu or Seiryu, as well as Wyrmal Legs and Feet. All that +HP really adds up after a while.

BTW, I think Adaman stuff is really overated (exept for the +Enmity, that's pretty nice) for damage mitigation, so you can save money and stick with your AF or go with some of the Lords/Kings pieces.

Yeah, Lord's gear is a lot cheaper. But I never seem to see it on sale in the AH. What pieces would you recommend getting in replacement for AF?

As a taru, do everything in your power to max your hp. It's that simple.
Like Elesirdur suggested, the Lord's/King's set was practically made for taru plds, with the mp->hp stats. Other pieces with lots of hp include the Parade Cuirass (PLD JSE), and the Dusk set. The latter also has pretty good def bonus, although it lacks vit (vit isn't that big a deal against HNMs anyhow). Basically go with whatever hp+ you can find, and slap on some enmity/vit in your remaining slots. As a taru pld you're at a "natural disadvantage" compared to the ever so amazing galka/elvaan HNM plds, since mp isn't really an issue in HNM tanking, but it's certainly possible.
