I usually get pretty creative with my macros...so i was wondering what do you all use for macros?

I'm currently lvl 39 PLD...so ill be using them skills.

Pretty good attack mac.

I also add flash to my provoke macro...

Times may be slightly out there but I hate spamming parties with macro text like, "OMGZ LIEK WTF NOTICE MEH NASTY MOB111". Besides, macro timers are so easily screwed so I often find myself spamming voke and the last thing the party want to see is, "Voking <t>" five or six times in a row.

"Shal" is spelled with a double "l" at the end (Shall).

Anyway I try to avoid as much /p messages as I can in my macros.

I try to give each of my macros alitle flavor, but put in exactly what they do in translator as well. people understand what im doing... of all my macros these are my favorite
(for simplicity sake, things in {} are auto translated words)

macros like, "May the light of the gods of altana shine upon and blind you vile demon! Flash HOOOO!" make me want to break/smash everything in sight. Personally i find them to be the most annoying thing in the game. Maybe its just me.

I feel exactly the same way.
There is just no need to use rediculously cheesy lines in this game.

The funniest one I saw was a MNK noob in dunes who had the following macro:

And he was spamming that every 15 seconds. I was ashamed to party with him.

haha that's He-Man so I can somewhat forgive that one. But had one last night from a drk. "Cut my life into pieces, THIS IS MY LAST RESORT!!!" (Last Resort macro) Maybe we should change this thread into the stupidest/most annoying macros we've seen. There's not too much to pld macros that hasn't already been covered and I think this is much more fun

i absolutley hate /p lines in macro's esp ones that may be heard along the lines of fantasy stories. blisted a blm that had that. i kept thinking he was trying to say something and since it was such a freakin long line i get distracted. i like to see the chat as clean as possible so communcation can be made easier. all my JA's are usually chosen through ctrl +j menu.. i find it a lot more reliable that way.

the only line that has /p is my cover macro where it will tell the person i'm covering to get behind me.

Lol, some of those are funny. If I still had used macro's to RP my actions (Which now I kind of find silly, better to develop an actual character RP then a macro repeating the same junk over 1,000+ times). Anyways if I was to do what with PLD/WAR then some of the macro's would of probably been:

Banish:

Heh, ok doing those macro setup RPs that I use to are harder now since I haven't done in such a long time. Actually I haven't done them at all on this MMO, this MMO provides a well developed enough history and storyline that falling into an RP without making such macro's has been more enjoyable for me.
