I'm not saying "You Must Use Staff!!! on exp pt" no way. I'm just saying for me, staff is far more useful than sword and shield. I just can control hate better with staff and also easier for mages as well.

Now you just contridicted yourself there, because you even said that all you do is miss miss miss and hit for 0, yet you claim you pulled a 284 spirit taker on an IT+++++++? That's bs, Spirit Taker is not a 100% hit and if you're fighting things that strong you'd miss a ton and do very little damage when you actually hit, that's the average amount I do with my 75 mnk on too weak-even mobs, so I'm highly doubting you could pull that much damage on something that much higher than you.

cancel defender and go berserk with SH/sniper/lifebelt/Promise Badge right before WS yes I've gotten 284 MP b4.
my ALT+8 is equip set up for acc gear + berserk
my ALT+7 is spirit taker ws and back to PLD AF gear.
I can usually drain good 70~110 @ 100% tp and if 200+ or so it usually hits 150~180 mp. I'm guessing 284 was crit hit.

fyi : spirit taker I think dmg depends on your MND/INT. not 100% sure tho
