Cassie&Behe mantle in EXP: yes or no?

I've got just about enough money to purchase one of these for my PLD66~ just dont know if its really worth it, and if it is, which? I've really considered both, and it looks like cassie would be a good replacement for a pigeon earring, whereas losing VIT+2 from my +1 Lv58 Mantle (forget the name) would be a pretty big loss. Anyways, just wanted to get some opinions.

I personally take off my Cassie Earring during XP. The 50mp hit is too much for me to stand unless I'm doing HNM stuff.

I say it depends on race and level, right now Cassie looks great to me, even in XP PT's. Now with full AF I have to find ways to use MP. Sure holding hate from a 1k slugshot > SATA DE on the RNG is cool, but nowadays I rather have the Slugshot turn the mob so the THF SATA's me.

Before full AF I wouldnt get a Cassie, even as Tawu. I have the gil for Cassie right now, but I am waiting to see what CoP has to offer us PLD for Earrings. Five Cassie went up this past Monday after update, could be just coincidence or people trying to get some quick gil to get some of the new stuff, but it might also mean there is a better earring coming our way.

About Behe mantle, I hear its great for HNM, but to be honest with you I rather save another million and get a Vermillion cloak. But thats me. ^^

No reason to blow money on cassie or behemoths mantle just for exp...

Both of these are used to give you an extra edge in hnm tanking. The added hp will do basically nothing during an exp session. And your first purchase for fighting hnm's hands down should be an earth staff, cassie earring/behemoths mantle could be considered after some of the more crucial purchases.

Honestly, if you want to blow money for an exp party I would recomend something that either A. gives you more mp regen for less whm downtime (dark staff/vermil cloak) or B. gives you more tp/damage for quicker kills (good 2h sword, better sword/accuracy gear).

But than again, I never bought or even bothered with a vermil, it doesn't help you tank, and a good pld will never be without a rdm and/or brd, so a vermil is basically worthless 95% of the time.

Blah, just buy whatever you want really, exp parties, pld equip basically isn't a factor, unless you have a joyeuse or a scorp harness etc, but +1 vit or +20 hp basically does nothing during an exp session.

They're good to have, but everything TheBruce said is true. Get something more practical for exp groups that'll make your PT get more exp/hour. Cassie Earring and Behemoth Mantle aren't going to help until you're tanking HNM. Stick with the Beak Mantle +1 for back armor until you're ready for the big things. Cassie Earring... well I bought one, but I'm Hume, so I can sacrifice the MP w/o really having to worry (I used it in BC60 last night. XD). Just get a Joyeuse and you'll never lose hate...

Getting a Cassie Earring for exp pt's really depends more on wat race u are. Being a taru, I got mine and it gives me very good stats (VIT+1 STR+1, both taru lack in) plus the convert 50 MP to HP is too good for a taru tank since we can take the -50 MP hit.

As for Behemoth's Mantle, I have to agree that this is mostly for HNM tanking. Beak Mantle+1 will serve any exp pt good. But if ur rich, go get a Behemoth Mantle +1 and start chugging down some Steamed Crabs for exp! Jk^^

I think you're talking about beak+1

anyways I have both the behemoth mantle and the earring. if you're going to definately buy one I suggest buying the mantle becuase the earring can be easily obtained if you have good friends by camping cassie. I use both of these in EXP. Behemoth I'd say is best for EXP and I'd say the cassie isn't really recomended for EXP because of the MP Loss. However I still use both of them in exp because I am stubborn D:

theres no way the behemoth is best for XP PTs. i own the Behemoth and a Republican Army Mantle and you couldnt pay me to use the Behemoth in PTs.

you're getting +5 DEF -2 DEX -2VIT +28 HP and +10 attack.( i think dunno off top of my head)

the DEF and HP is insignificant for XP purposes and +10 attack definitely doesnt match up against 2 VIT or 2 DEX.
