  • What belt do YOU use?

Just wondering what types of belts most of you people use. I'm getting close to level 50 now *finally* but I'm still torn as to what I should use,

Life belt to boost my accuracy for vorpal blade,

RK belt to boost all stats needed, using it in conjunction with a Gluttony Sword so my stats'll stay up.

Or my trusty Warrior's Belt +1 for the ever usefull +4 vitality?

Anyways this is just a question to see what you guys are using as belts so I can possibly come up with a decision on my own.

I've already gone through all the belt discussion topics over and over, but they usually go off and discuss why one is better than another, so I'm going with a general consensus here.

Warrior's Belt +1.. Although I'm planning to switch to Life Belt because I'm already missing like hell even at 31. :/

I'm going lifebelt myself too as soon as I can.

If you have a bard in your party, I would go with the Warrior's Belt +1.

If you are still missing or really need to generate TP (you are part of renkei), then go with the Life Belt.

I switch according to the situation. Some would say that hitting is more important as you can keep hate and the life belt certainly helps in that regard; but I have been simply amazed at amount of hate saved by taking less dmg with Warrior's Belt +1.

            To Kagi:
I have played with the idea of using an Earth Staff; as you have one, I am wondering about the pro's and con's to using it.

The Earth Staff works fantastically if you're tanking a HNM or NM. Just not for exp, when you need your high sword skill, ws's, and your shield.

But yes, the damage reduction on the Earth Staff is very very noticeable.

Life Belt. The elementals ph34r my l337 farming skills. I kinda miss my Warrior Belt +1 though, every now and then. But that may be a sentiment thing, seeing as I used it all the way from 15 to 48.
Retired for good this time; been a fun ride everybody.

How about that seemingly wonderful piece of equipment known as the Desert Stone for Galkan Paladins?
I have been using an Oracle's Belt for the mp boost, but now that I've hit 50, Ryl Knight's and Lifebelt seem like much better choices. The Desert Stone seems awesome with it's +40 mp, but dex -5 is pretty gross.

This has been brought up in a ton of previous posts. I think the most important factor to the question is what is your race. As an Elvaan without a Peacock Charm you better believe I am using a Life Belt =)

Looks like Life Belts are the norm for paladins around here. Okay, time to get 120k.

I remember when the default answer to this question was "OMFG R.K. BELT!!" when I asked :p

Most JP players used RK belt at the time as well.

Elidrin, I and a few others decided to test out Life Belt way back then and it seemed to work better, so I guess this is becoming the norm currently.

                              Lvl PT or Skill PT?

So would you (meaning anyone) use Life Belt in a leveling PT or in a Skill PT?

I'm currently using the RK Belt, with the impression that RK Belt would be best suited as "general-purpose" for most or all situations. However, I would like to be versitile when a situation calls for equipment swapping.
