NIN/BLU for an opinion

Hi all, I am sort of new to the game played way back in the day when it first got released, and left to go back to EQ. I am looking to unlock NIN and BLU. I am wondering what a NIN/BLU could bring to the field. I have a 20mnk right now subbed w/ a war and love it. I am lvling my thf righ now and is lvl 12 taking him to 20 to sub w/ BLU if BLU/NIN or NIN/BLU is not what it turns out to be. I have been doing research and BLU/NIN, BLU/THF sound great. Just can't find any info on NIN/BLU any info would much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

NIN/BLU really won't offer much in parties. It's mostly a soloing sub for cocoon and headbutt among other utility spells.

Honestly, your best bets for EXP are WAR RNG and BLM subs

i think NIN is best with WAR... but then again, i only played ffxi for a few months... so im a newb too haha

NIN/BLU? Can't imagine what you'd do with it.

You'd get access to Coccoon at level 16/8, but with no way to grab the monster's attention, and no way to boost your own or the party's damage except the dubious VIT-down effect of Wild Oats (which will fail a lot when subbed).

Thanks all for the info, I now know I will not use NIN/BLU. Ill stick w/ NIN/WAR then use BLU/NIN later on. Thanks.

I was thinking of using Nin/Blu for a short while back when I first got Blu unlocked, it's a pretty cool job to play. However, now that I'm moving into Endgame more with my Ninja, my Endgame LS really wants me to focus in on Sub DRK for Stun.

I'm pretty excited about Nin/Drk, it really sounds like a combo that with benifit Ninja very well with the added attack power and offensive spells. Only downside is gonna be the low MP pool, but I still think it's do-able.
