some stuff i did catch and transcribed:
q: will you make sam better tank?
a: sam always a attacker. will make sam better attack, pld better tank

I like NIN's as tanks. PLD's are the more reliable and better in the "oh shit" scenarios, but I enjoy getting to both tank and DD as a NIN. Maybe after PLD gets boosted some, they'll give a little bit more DD'ing to NIN to help out with hate. Who knows.

Almost done with WAR, then I get to go lvl NIN for 12 lvl's. Where were your favorite places to level instead of the Jungles?

EDIT: working on a couple things at work, soon as I get done in a few I'll look for it. I'm pretty sure its here on FFXIO.

Intensity, I don't remember which thread for the Fan Festival it was, or even where in the thread, but someone said the devs were asked if SAM was ever supposed to be a tank and they said no.

I completely skipped the jungles on NIN by soloing from 25-30 in qufim island ^^. I made roughly 3-4k per hour there solo.

What kind of setup did you use? You debuff the hell out of the mob (Which mobs btw?) then just go to town hacking away with katanas, or what?
