Does anyone know if INT improves Ninjutsu Enfeebles @ all? I'm pretty sure loading up on INT gear can increase the power of the Tonjutsu Wheel and it would make sense that the same worked for the enfeebles but I don't want to take 4-5 more pieces of INT gear with me everywhere to macro in unless I'm sure. =P

int does add dmg to elemental ninjutsu.
as far as int affecting strength of enfeebles, im not sure if that holds any water. i always thought paralyze is just paralyze. in the sense that you cant increase the strength of it once it sticks. and the same with other enfeebles. to make sure it sticks, swap in as much ninjutsu skill pieces possible.

i believe it ups the damage of the elemental wheel ninjutsu. i've heard that ninjas who wish to dd will gear themselves to boost int.

It'd be hard to test Blind and Paralyze and Slow might even be MND based. Poison I guess you just have to set up a Ballista test and check the damage per tick and duration. Slow should be the easiest to test.

May want to change subs to gauge the int effect nin have about as much int as drk i think so subbing a mage or drk class might be good for noticing significant differences nice sig btw what kind of katanas are those?

I'd like to know this as well; as a Elvaan NIN without any (if I remember correctly) INT modifiers in equip or food, Kurayami and Hojo did not stick more than half the time on VT mobs in Valley of Sorrows when I was level 61. I know that INT modifies the damage from the Tonjutsu Wheel, but as for enfeebles, I'm not so sure.

The resistence of Nin enfeebling (hojo kurayami jubaku) is based on your ninjutsu level.
Stats are only dmg mods. for elemental wheel.

so the higher your skill the more and longer your enfeebles will stick.

Awesome thank you. I haven't had time to run the tests myself but I had a suspicion that was true. As of now I have a Ninjutsu equip macro that swap in my Ninja Hatsuburi, Ninjutsu Torque and a Ninjutsu Earring before I cast my enfeebles. With this, I rarely have an issue getting them to stick even on IT++ mobs. My main curiousity stemmed from maybe if I stacked INT gear with my Ninjutsu gear, the enfeebles would last longer. But the length of your enfeebles sticking on a mob is a BITCH to test. =P

well a easy way to test it is to sub nin and cast an enfeebling, then switch to nin main and cast the same enfeeble.

its also makes alot of sense that it is based on skill because BLM/NIN would be top enfeebler if it was based on stats ^^

Yeah, that's what I want to test but it would be painfully long. You'd have to enfeebles the mob, then time how long it sticks. Change equip, try again. But to get a reliable scenario you'd have to do this @ least 100 times to get a semi-reliable conclusion.

I'm not sure why, but I heard that a NIN/BLM is do-able, and quite strong. I may have mis-read this. Also, VERY COSTLY. +INT equipment + all the ninjutsu you need to go through.

Yeah but that's due to MAB and INT+ enhances the power of the Elemental Wheel. Sheer damage, doesn't have anything to do with strengthening enfeebles apparently.
