    I recently got my character back.Started leveling got my scorp harness.
    Then I hear about the Ranger nerf I say to myself /sigh another nerf cant be that bad right? They do pay to play right?

    Im a ninja and I think SE sucks I think the majority of the FFXI community sucks
    So after I hear what they did to Rangers and how people are treating them.I decided to quit for good even after I got my character back.I wont go into details cause I just to care for the game anymore! Thanks I loved this website and have a nice life...


    Oh and Awntawn Ill miss reading your posts Ive been at this site since Pc launch and will always remember you informative posts. ˆ ˆ

          Part of the issue is that it leaves RNGs with no viable options about where to stand. Too far, and you have zero accuracy. Too close, and your damage is halved. That's a bit too extreme, I think, and I really think S-E should consider bringing point-blank damage up to about -25% and bring down the range penalty to something more reasonable - i.e. I don't think RNG should be suffering an accuracy penalty if they're standing in the "sweet spot" for their chosen weapon I'm not even sure if that would be enough to fix things, but it'd certainly be a step in the right direction.

          What I meant by pay to play was that Rangers maintance and leveling cost.
          Think of how it killed soloing for rangers and how it affects Bcnm and Hnm battles.
          I didnt mean to be like ooh I quit but cmon this is extreme nerf.All rangers would agree that a nerf would be ok but what they got was extreme.

            overnerfed? all this UPDATE will do is make the players play their jobs, instead of finding the sweetspot and pump the mobs full of arrows. good riddance as far as i'm concerned...

                sorry but all the rangers in My LS are happy they found the sweet spot and doing more dmg the preupdate.
                i dunno i somehow think only ppl who dont understand the job got nerved.
                the only thing is that it is impossible to Solo for RNG now.

                i played ranger to 63 and for me its still job with the most dmg output in the game.
                i like my ranger but i find playing ranger kinda boring pre-update.
                now after the update its fun cuz i have, like other jobs, to time my atks.
                a well planed /r will do alot more dmg then pre-update and thats saweeet
