holding hate isnt the issue with the ninja nerf. things like goblin rush now takes off 3 shadows instead of 1. hell there can be more nerfs for the ninja. but this is by far worse then hate holding. ni goes down fast against a gob no matter what. ichi is then hti with a goblin rush. we are now left with no shadows, an alot of time left on the recast timers.

this sucks considering the popularity of gob camps on my server.

That's strange. I thought that was changed to be dependent on your Ninjitsu skill a while back.

It's taken three shadows in Dynamis for a while now but even before I noticed it there I've always said to LS mates it should take three shadows. I don't think it will affect fighting Goblin's that much, they'll still always be one of the easier enemies a Ninja will ever have to tank.

yea gob rush was only taking 1 shadow in bibiki bay at least up till right before update, they made it take 3 shadows which it should anyway since other mobs multi hit abls were taking more than 1 shadow it jus makes them hard tho * harder*

Yeah, this is true. It takes 3 shadows now. Even with capped Ninjutsu skill.

Dynamis - Jeuno Goblins hit hard. Remember that.

I wonder can Goblin Rush be a partial miss. Just like how multi hit WS can do low damage if one or more of the hits actually miss. Do you think this is possible? Or do you think think it's 100% Accuracy or miss/parry on Goblin Rush?

Well the classification of were a Goblish Rush lands it should be possible for it miss to were only 1 shadow or 0 are lost. Goblish Rush seems to add a huge accuracy boost though like Sneak Attack does so dodging it is tough.

Yeah, it does seem to have a HUGE Acc boost. I've had a Lv.15 Gobby land Goblin Rush on me for a whop'n 5dmg (I hate that it makes you look so helpless as he you reel backwards from the hit, but did hardly no damage!) as RDM60 with a Lv.160 Evasion skill.

Getting a little anoying hearing the statement "that update" and not specification on of which one they are reffering too. If you mean the Sep. 14, 2004 update then of course the change was done then for the ninjitsu to have 5 variations of how they can loose Utsusemi or it would be ignored.

If it's about certain gobs only taking 1 shadow before in an update after the Sep. 14th one then it's likely that was a bug that was fixed. Many of the other gobs were taking 3 shadows with Goblin Rush, it isn't that far fetched that a goblin class could of had their ability glitched and was just fixed.

Likely reason of the bug getting fixed if it's the Oct. 11, 2005 update being addressed I would say is this:
Originally posted by Oct. 11, 2005 (JST) Update Details

Even though it's a fix to a Ballista event it was also an alteration to ninjutsu. So not that far fetched that it may correct something that wasn't working right before. In fact thats basically what the statement is saying.
